The 9th Singapore-Liaoning Economic and Trade Council (SLETC) meeting was held in Singapore two weeks ago, co-chaired by Singapore Minister for Social and Family Development, Mr Tan Chuan-Jin, and Liaoning Governor, Mr Chen Qiufa. At the meeting, EtonHouse International Education Group signed a three-party MOU with Dalian High-Tech Zone Administrative Committee and Dalian Software Park Rongyuan Development Co. Ltd to set up the first EtonHouse International School in Northern China. The school will offer international education for early years, primary and secondary levels as well as language training. Scheduled for completion in September 2017, EtonHouse International School Dalian is spread across 15,000 sqm and located in the ‘Dalian Tiandi’, an international business park. It is targeted to commence in September 2017.

During the SLETC meeting, a total of 16 project agreements spanning hi-tech manufacturing and modern services sectors were signed, with almost half being SME projects. This marked Governor Chen’s first meeting since assuming the governor role last year. Organised by International Enterprise (IE) Singapore, the Singapore secretariat for the Council, over 170 government and business representatives from Singapore and Liaoning attended the meeting.

It is our honour to have this opportunity to establish an EtonHouse International School in Liaoning, and we look forward to more years of providing quality education in Northern China.
