Field trip to China Cultural Centre

18 Nov

On 18 Nov 2016, the Year 3 and 4 Bilingual classes of EtonHouse International School took a trip to the China Cultural Centre to participate in a cultural activity hosted by The Palace Museum from Beijing.

There were three activity corners: The Year 3 Chameleons children were involved in the “Court Beads DIY” making, Year 3 Alligators participated in creating an “Eight Banner” pen holder, and the children from Year 4 Pandas got to learn more about stamp making.

The children were extremely excited to get hands-on experience of these crafts, with many of them raising many questions enthusiastically. They were intrigued by the creative processes and were beaming with confidence and pride when they saw their finished artworks.

The cultural event was a very successful one as our students enjoyed themselves with the unique opportunities to immerse in the beauty of the Chinese culture.
