Last Saturday, we unveiled the E-Bridge large child care centre at 78 Edgedale Plains and showed parents our specially designed learning spaces, first of its kind hygiene and design standards including features to fight the spread of infectious diseases, like a newly developed sanitization programme, mass temperature screening equipment and through air ventilation design.

This centre occupies land area of 5,000 square meters and built up area of 3,700 square meters. It has 30 classrooms and diverse facilities for young children, including a library, sensory areas and studios to explore light, technology and art. The building’s S-shape resembles a traditional ruyi, which has the meaning of “as one wishes”, and the 5 circular pods were set up to reflect the 5 Chinese elements Earth, Metal Water, Wood and Fire.

Mr Ng Chee Meng, Acting Education Minister (Schools) and MP for Pasir Ris-Punggol GRC and other grassroots leaders also toured the school and were pleased with the high quality, safe and nurturing learning environment we have created for our young children.

Also, EtonHouse presented the EtonHouse Community Fund’s contribution of $100,000 to the Punggol North Community Development & Welfare Fund to support children from underprivileged backgrounds.
